This is Birth planning + Virtual Birth Support for your birth partner
Service Description
This package is different than my other packages. This package is for birth partners/support person (aka dads, grandmas and friends) that are attending a birth. Mom can pick this service for 1 person. I don't believe in pulling mom out of her birth brain and so this option is to offer virtual support to the birth partner during labour. They can text or call me during birth and ask for evidence based ideas and information. The base package includes: - A FREE consultation which includes some birth planning help via Zoom for mom and dad - On-call support from two weeks before mom due date until birth - Phone/text support throughout pregnancy for questions and emotional support (Phone and text support available 9 AM - 9 PM, unless you are in active labor.) - Post partum check in texting days 1, 3, 7, 14 This is a new option and subject to changes. In person visits are available starting at $50. Extra Virtual calls are available are available starting at $25.
Cancellation Policy
12-Hour Clause (Sustainability Policy) If in-person labor support exceeds 12 hours, an additional fee of $50/hour applies thereafter. This will not affect my in-labor support—I will remain with you. The additional charge will be invoiced at your postpartum visit. This policy ensures I can continue to provide high-quality support and arrange for necessary backup or childcare if needed. I will inform you before this additional rate is applied. Cesarean Clause In the event of a planned or emergency Cesarean birth, fees remain the same. I will stay on-site to offer as much support as the medical staff allows. You can advocate for me to be present in the operating room with your partner, but hospital policies vary. If I am not permitted in the OR, I will join you immediately after the birth to provide support. Failure Clause I make every effort to provide the services outlined in this contract. However, in the rare event that I am unable to attend your birth due to my own unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, emergency) and my backup doula is also unavailable, I will refund your fee minus the deposit and any prenatal session fees ($100 per session). If I miss your birth due to your failure to call me or a precipitous (fast) labor, no refund will be issued, but I will be available for immediate postpartum support. Being on-call for up to a month around your due date requires significant commitment. If there are any dates I am unavailable for labor support, we will discuss them ahead of time, and I will arrange for a qualified backup doula. If a backup doula attends your birth, full fees remain the same. I will compensate my backup directly at no additional cost to you.
